Debate Summary

Present your argument:

Does it make to lift previous moratoriums and allow a practice that poisons the very air we breathe and water we drink-- all in the name of creating new jobs? Does it make sense for the governor to tell the people that this bill will NOT harm the environment or us?
NC. Gov. McCrory has endorsed a form of organized crime—the hitmen? Oil and shale companies; the targets? Us. He has welcomed business to rape and pillage all throughout his state, leaving families with unusable, gas-infested water supplies to cancer-causing chemicals within their wells and the very atmosphere.
Not only did he sign this bill, but he did it so that lawmakers have no time to research, object, or change how permits for this legalized murder could occur.
Why are we allowing a governor to sign bills that are not only harmful to the people of his state but knowingly kill the people of his state—or at the very least force them to move? Is this government “for the people?"
